Ordering

Making a purchase could not be easier, just browse our store, and for any items that you wish to buy click on the "Add to Shopping Basket" button. After you have finished your selection, click on the red "Checkout" button at the top right-hand side of the page, you will then be taken to the Shopping Basket page where you can review and amend your shopping list. You will then be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your order. You can view or go back and make amendments to your shopping basket at any time (before making the payment) by clicking on the red 'Checkout' button again.

Payments are made securely through Sage Pay or through your own PayPal account for safe, secure online shopping, which also means that we do not hold any of your credit or debit card details.

Order Confirmation

You will receive email confirmation of your order which indicates that we have received your order. It does not mean we have accepted your order. We have included this term just in case a mistake has been made in pricing and we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. If we cannot supply the product you have ordered, we will where possible offer you a similar product but again we will always contact you to ensure you agree to this. We do not hold any of your credit card details so we can never charge anything to your card without first speaking to you. We aim to do our best to process your order quickly and get it delivered to you as soon as possible and usually within 7 working days of receipt of your order. 

Order Status

Once you place your order you will receive an email with the order details. Your order will then pass through a number of status checks as follows:

  • Security Check - Your payment details are being checked and processed. We may contact you for further details if required. You will get an e-mail from us if your payment fails to complete and we ask you to contact us as soon as you receive this e-mail.
  • Processing - Your order is now being picked and packed.
  • Dispatched - As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email informing you of this.

Shipping & Handling

The shipping costs, which cover postage, packaging and handling, are based on the total weight and size of your order and will be calculated, and available to view, at the checkout before you make a payment. We have no minimum order value and deliver to the UK mainland only.

We aim to deliver your order as soon as possible and usually within 7 working days of receipt of your order. All delivery and dispatch timescales quoted do not include weekends or bank holidays.

We deliver to the UK mainland only. Some remote areas of Great Britain may not be covered by our normal delivery services and so we may have to contact you to advise you of extra postal charges.

If you are not around to accept your parcel, the carrier may leave it with a neighbour, or in a safe place, if they think it is safe to do so. A calling card will be posted through your door to let you know this has been done. If the parcel can't be left in a safe place or with a neighbour, or requires a signature, the carrier will take it back to the local depot, and leave you a card telling you how you can pick it up.

Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven days after receipt of the goods. In the event that you wish to cancel your order, you must inform the company in writing by emailing sales@autocaresupermarket.com or by writing to the address shown below within 7 days after you have received the goods.

The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you. Any free gifts included with the order must also be returned. It is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods so they arrive with us in a resalable condition and with the original packaging. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel back to us using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods as we cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost in the post. Refunds will be processed as soon as possible and within 30 days.

If the item you received is not what you originally ordered or is faulty please contact us, within 7 days of receipt, at sales@autocaresupermarket.com or via the "Contact Us" page, quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise you on how to proceed with the return. Please return it to us as soon as possible. A refund will be issued, or a replacement dispatched, once we have received the returned item(s). Refunds cannot be given if the fault is as a result of misuse.

If you return an item because of an error on our part, or because it is faulty or damaged, we will happily refund the full value of the order and your costs in returning it to us.
